Lucia and Carlos
Lucia has always had a big passion for animals and the wellbeing of all pets, she later on went to university to become a zootechnician. Working with animals has always been part of her life and she knew this would not change once she moved to Canada, where she decided to attend grooming academy and open Lucar Grooming Spa alongside her husband Carlos. Lucia has over 30 years of experience in the pet care industry and prides herself on her passion to provide an exceptional service that makes a difference in the community.
Carlos has since continued to learn the ins and outs of the industry, as well developing his own skills and lending a helping hand for the team when needed, Carlos is passionate about the maintenance and upkeep of the salon but his favorite part is connecting with pet parents.
Ana
Coming from a family of farmers and a diverse country like Colombia, Ana grew up surrounded by all kinds of animals and knew from a very young age that she would dedicate her life to them. Needless to say, pet grooming came to her as a very natural career path, she later on graduated from grooming academy and continues to improve her knowledge.
Ana believes creating a connection with our pets is a very special experience and she prides herself on her passion to help as many of them as possible.
Yeong
Yeong came to Canada after studying and working at a dog grooming academy in Korea.
Korean style grooming focuses on the importance of a high quality bath and cleanliness of the dog as well as the details of the grooming design. Yeong has spent a long time mastering her scissor skill and while in Canada, she would like to showcase her skills by doing more detailed design cuts, focusing on scissor work which she considers to be her strength. Yeong loves being able to create big transformations with her own hands and share her love with every dog she grooms.
Billie
Billie has always had a passion for animals. Growing up with dogs and cats, she has always had a special connection with them. Starting her first job at a young age, she cared for many different types of animals. Most of them being dogs, she knew she wanted to continue to work with her special canine friends. Billie decided to go to school for dog grooming and graduated in 2019. From then on, she has enjoyed the world of dog grooming. She loves spending time with your furry friend and giving them a fresh pamper! Seeing them leave happy with a wagging tail puts a smile on her face!
